I need to explore the areas past my house. I really enjoy the whole night shooting especially now that it is not freezing. I just don't know where to go in Huntington that isn't commercialized/bar crowds. Its either that or the beach. I also really want a new camera.

Swiss, Porch 38 Pratt
It is becoming easier to photograph him. I've quit worrying that people will assume things about our relationship based on a single photo. Its not that simple and they know it.
Goal.
I think as Junior winds down into sequencing and printing weeks I need to continue to shoot my homes and those around me. For the next week I want to try and photograph 5-10 pictures a day of myself, my boyfriend and my roommate. The house -interior and exterior- the street, and the yard. Hopefully this happens. The days seem to dissolve quickly even when the sun is up for a longer period of time. I dont understand.

I miss shooting at night. Exploring the different parts of the cities. I always do my night shooting in the fall which isn't smart when winter hits. Still its the lighting that draws me in no matter what.

Self Portrait Green, HS days
Back in the days of HS before my work had "meanings" I used to do self portraits all the time. My teacher Piff and I would just mimic Cindy Sherman or set up projects based around different colors. I miss those days.

It is extremely hard to photograph myself and I'm not one of those photographers who are like "I take pictures not be in them." I will happily model for anyone however to model for myself it just seems awkward. This weeks goal for class is to get at least one good self portrait. I have to keep trying.

Dining Room, Dad 20 Beach
Photographing my Dad has become one of my favorite parts of my Junior Project. I feel like its a good bonding experience and one day it will mean a lot to have these photos of my dad.
Jerob, Stingray
Photographing at Stingray was one of the most difficult projects I have ever gotten myself into. The piercer however was an awesome guy who despite hating being photographed allowed me to get upclose and personal with him and the clients.
Couch, 44 Woodhull
Last year I spent most of the year photographing my homes without people in them at the time I loved them. I'm not sure which I prefer. I miss shooting square/film.

photographing for Junior is getting harder and harder. With Swiss and Eric as my only models and a tiny apartment of only few rooms space becomes the issue. This weeks troubles have been photographing myself. Hopefully I will get that done tonight.
